Joshua 6:4 - Also, seven priests shall carry seven trumpets [made] of rams’ horns ahead of the ark; then on the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets.
1 Chronicles 6:8 - and Ahitub became the father of Zadok, and Zadok became the father of Ahimaaz,
1 Chronicles 6:9 - and Ahimaaz became the father of Azariah, and Azariah became the father of Johanan,
1 Chronicles 6:10 - and Johanan became the father of Azariah (it was he who was priest in the house (temple) which Solomon built in Jerusalem)
1 Chronicles 6:11 - and Azariah became the father of Amariah, and Amariah became the father of Ahitub,
1 Chronicles 6:12 - and Ahitub became the father of Zadok, and Zadok became the father of Shallum,
Ezekiel 48:11 - It shall be for the priests who are sanctified of the sons of Zadok, who have kept My charge, and who did not go astray when the children (descendants) of Israel went astray as the [other] Levites did.
1 Kings 1:8 - But Zadok the priest, Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, Nathan the prophet, Shimei, Rei, and David’s most formidable warriors did not side with Adonijah [in his desire to become king].

1 Samuel 4:4 - So the people sent word to Shiloh, and from there they carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord of hosts who sits above the cherubim; and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were with the ark of the covenant of God.
1 Samuel 4:5 - So it happened that as the ark of the covenant of the Lord came into the camp, all [the people of] Israel shouted with a great shout, and the earth resounded.
Joshua 3:15 - and when those who were carrying the ark came up to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests carrying the ark were submerged at the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all of its banks throughout the time of harvest),
Joshua 3:16 - the waters which were flowing down from above stopped and rose up in one mass a great distance away at Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan. Those [waters] flowing downward toward the sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, were completely cut off. So the people crossed [the river] opposite Jericho.
Joshua 3:17 - And while all [the people of] Israel crossed over on dry ground, the priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan [riverbed], until all the nation had finished crossing over the Jordan.
Joshua 3:6 - Joshua said to the priests, “Take up the ark of the covenant and cross over [the river] ahead of the people.” So they took up the ark of the covenant and went on ahead of the people.
Joshua 3:3 - and they commanded the people, “When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God being carried by the Levitical priests, then you shall set out from where you are and follow it.
2 Samuel 6:13 - And when those who were carrying the ark of the Lord [by its poles] had gone six paces, he sacrificed an ox and a fatling.
1 Chronicles 15:2 - Then David said, “No one is to carry the ark of God except the Levites; for the Lord chose them to carry the ark of God and to minister to Him forever.”

Numbers 4:15 - When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary and all its furniture, as the camp sets out, after all that [is done, but not before], the sons of Kohath shall come to carry them [using the poles], so that they do not touch the holy things, and die. These are the things in the Tent of Meeting (tabernacle) which the sons of Kohath are to carry.
