- Jeremías 26:20 - Hubo también otro profeta, de nombre Urías hijo de Semaías, de Quiriat Yearín, que profetizaba en el nombre del Señor. Este profetizó contra la ciudad y contra el país, tal y como lo hizo Jeremías.

- Jeremías 26:24 - Sin embargo, Ajicán hijo de Safán protegió a Jeremías y no permitió que cayera en manos del pueblo ni que lo mataran.
