Mark 16:19 - When the Lord Jesus finished speaking to them, he was taken up into heaven. He sat down at the right hand of God.

Habakkuk 3:8 - Lord, were you angry with the rivers? Were you angry with the streams? Were you angry with the Red Sea? You rode your horses and chariots to overcome it.
Ezekiel 10:9 - I looked up and saw four wheels beside the cherubim. One wheel was beside each of them. The wheels gleamed like topaz.
Ezekiel 10:10 - All four of them looked alike. Each wheel appeared to be inside another wheel at right angles.
Ezekiel 10:11 - The wheels could go in any one of the four directions the cherubim faced. The wheels didn’t change their direction as the cherubim moved. The cherubim went in the direction their heads faced. They didn’t change their direction as they moved.
Ezekiel 10:12 - Their whole bodies were completely covered with eyes. That included their backs, hands and wings. Their four wheels were covered with eyes too.
Ezekiel 10:13 - I heard someone tell the wheels to start spinning around.
Ezekiel 10:14 - Each of the cherubim had four faces. One face was the face of a cherub. The second was the face of a human being. The third was the face of a lion. And the fourth was an eagle’s face.
Ezekiel 10:15 - The cherubim rose from the ground. They were the same living creatures I had seen by the Kebar River.
Ezekiel 10:16 - When the cherubim moved, the wheels beside them moved. The cherubim spread their wings to rise from the ground. As they did, the wheels didn’t leave their side.
Ezekiel 10:17 - When the cherubim stood still, the wheels also stood still. When the cherubim rose, the wheels rose along with them. That’s because the spirits of the living creatures were in the wheels.
Ezekiel 10:18 - Then the glory of the Lord moved away from the doorway of the temple. It stopped above the cherubim.
Ezekiel 10:19 - While I watched, they spread their wings. They rose from the ground. As they went, the wheels went along with them. They stopped at the entrance of the east gate of the Lord’s house. And the glory of the God of Israel was above them.
Ezekiel 10:20 - These were the same living creatures I had seen by the Kebar River. I had seen them beneath the God of Israel. I realized that they were cherubim.
Ezekiel 10:21 - Each one had four faces and four wings. Under their wings was what looked like human hands.
Ezekiel 10:22 - Their faces looked the same as the ones I had seen by the Kebar River. Each of the cherubim went straight ahead.
Zechariah 6:1 - I looked up again and saw four chariots. They were coming out from between two mountains. The mountains were made out of bronze.
Zechariah 6:2 - The first chariot was pulled by red horses. The second one had black horses.
Zechariah 6:3 - The third had white horses. And the fourth had spotted horses. All the horses were powerful.
Zechariah 6:4 - I asked the angel who was talking with me, “Sir, what are these?”
Zechariah 6:5 - The angel answered, “The four spirits of heaven. They are going out to serve the Lord of the whole world.
Zechariah 6:6 - The chariot pulled by the black horses is going toward the north country. The one with the white horses is going toward the west. And the one with the spotted horses is going toward the south.”
Zechariah 6:7 - The powerful horses went out. They were in a hurry to go all over the earth. The angel said, “Go all through the earth!” So they did.
Zechariah 6:8 - Then the Lord called out to me, “Look! The horses going toward the north have given my Spirit rest in the north country.”
2 Kings 2:1 - Elijah and Elisha were on their way from Gilgal. The Lord was going to use a strong wind to take Elijah up to heaven.
Psalm 68:17 - God has come with tens of thousands of his chariots. He has come with thousands and thousands of them. The Lord has come from Mount Sinai. He has entered his holy place.
Ezekiel 1:4 - I looked up and saw a windstorm coming from the north. I saw a huge cloud. The fire of lightning was flashing out of it. Bright light surrounded it. The center of the fire looked like glowing metal.
Ezekiel 1:5 - I saw in the fire something that looked like four living creatures. They appeared to have the shape of a human being.
Ezekiel 1:6 - But each of them had four faces and four wings.
Ezekiel 1:7 - Their legs were straight. Their feet looked like the feet of a calf. They were as bright as polished bronze.
Ezekiel 1:8 - The creatures had human hands under their wings on their four sides. All four of them had faces and wings.
Ezekiel 1:9 - The wings of one touched the wings of another. Each of the creatures went straight ahead. They didn’t change their direction as they moved.
Ezekiel 1:10 - Here’s what their faces looked like. Each of the four creatures had the face of a human being. On the right side each had the face of a lion. On the left each had the face of an ox. Each one also had an eagle’s face.
Ezekiel 1:11 - That’s what their faces looked like. They each had two wings that spread out and lifted up. Each wing touched the wing of another creature on either side. They each had two other wings that covered their bodies.
Ezekiel 1:12 - All the creatures went straight ahead. Anywhere their spirits would lead them to go, they would go. They didn’t change their direction as they went.
Ezekiel 1:13 - The living creatures looked like burning coals of fire or like torches. Fire moved back and forth among the creatures. It was bright. Lightning flashed out of it.
Ezekiel 1:14 - The creatures raced back and forth like flashes of lightning.
Ezekiel 1:15 - As I looked at the living creatures, I saw wheels on the ground beside them. Each creature had four faces.
Ezekiel 1:16 - Here’s how the wheels looked and worked. They gleamed like topaz. All four of them looked alike. Each one seemed to be made like a wheel inside another wheel at right angles.
Ezekiel 1:17 - The wheels could go in any one of the four directions the creatures faced. The wheels didn’t change their direction as the creatures moved.
Ezekiel 1:18 - Their rims were high and terrifying. All four rims were full of eyes all the way around them.
Ezekiel 1:19 - When the living creatures moved, the wheels beside them moved. When the creatures rose from the ground, the wheels also rose.
Ezekiel 1:20 - Anywhere their spirits would lead them to go, they would go. And the wheels would rise along with them. That’s because the spirits of the living creatures were in the wheels.
Ezekiel 1:21 - When the living creatures moved, the wheels also moved. When the creatures stood still, they also stood still. When the creatures rose from the ground, the wheels rose along with them. That’s because the spirits of the living creatures were in the wheels.
Ezekiel 1:22 - Something that looked like a huge space was spread out above the heads of the living creatures. It gleamed like crystal. It was terrifying.
Ezekiel 1:23 - The wings of the creatures were spread out under the space. They reached out toward one another. Each creature had two wings covering its body.
Ezekiel 1:24 - When the living creatures moved, I heard the sound of their wings. It was like the roar of rushing waters. It sounded like the thundering voice of the Mighty God. It was like the loud noise an army makes. When the creatures stood still, they lowered their wings.
Ezekiel 1:25 - Then a voice came from above the huge space over their heads. They stood with their wings lowered.
Ezekiel 1:26 - Above the space over their heads was something that looked like a throne made out of lapis lazuli. On the throne high above was a figure that appeared to be a man.
Ezekiel 1:27 - From his waist up he looked like glowing metal that was full of fire. From his waist down he looked like fire. Bright light surrounded him.
Ezekiel 1:28 - The glow around him looked like a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day. That’s what the glory of the Lord looked like. When I saw it, I fell with my face toward the ground. Then I heard the voice of someone speaking.
Psalm 104:3 - He builds his palace high in the heavens. He makes the clouds serve as his chariot. He rides on the wings of the wind.
Psalm 104:4 - He makes the winds serve as his messengers. He makes flashes of lightning serve him.
2 Kings 6:17 - Elisha prayed, “Lord, open my servant’s eyes so that he can see.” Then the Lord opened his eyes. Elisha’s servant looked up and saw the hills. He saw that Elisha was surrounded by horses and chariots made of fire.
