Numbers 31:2 - Avenge the children of Israel of the Midianites: afterward shalt thou be gathered unto thy people.
Numbers 31:3 - And Moses spake unto the people, saying, Arm ye men from among you for the war, that they may go against Midian, to execute Jehovah’s vengeance on Midian.
Numbers 31:4 - Of every tribe a thousand, throughout all the tribes of Israel, shall ye send to the war.
Numbers 31:5 - So there were delivered, out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war.

Deuteronomy 20:1 - When thou goest forth to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, thou shalt not be afraid of them; for Jehovah thy God is with thee, who brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
Deuteronomy 20:2 - And it shall be, when ye draw nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people,
Deuteronomy 20:3 - and shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye draw nigh this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your heart faint; fear not, nor tremble, neither be ye affrighted at them;
Deuteronomy 20:4 - for Jehovah your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.

2 Chronicles 20:12 - O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.
