Sin duda que la gran ira del Señor arde contra nosotros, porque nuestros antepasados no obedecieron lo que dice este libro ni actuaron según lo que está prescrito para nosotros.
2 Reyes 22:14 - Así que Jilquías el sacerdote, Ajicán, Acbor, Safán y Asaías fueron a consultar a la profetisa Huldá, que vivía en el barrio nuevo de Jerusalén. Huldá era la esposa de Salún, el encargado del vestuario, quien era hijo de Ticvá y nieto de Jarjás.
2 Reyes 22:15 - Huldá les contestó: «Así dice el Señor, Dios de Israel: “Díganle al que los ha enviado
2 Reyes 22:16 - que yo, el Señor, les advierto: ‘Voy a enviar desgracia sobre este lugar y sus habitantes, según todo lo que dice el libro que ha leído el rey de Judá.
2 Reyes 22:17 - Ellos me han abandonado; han quemado incienso a otros dioses y me han provocado a ira con todos sus ídolos. Por eso mi ira arde contra este lugar, y no se apagará’.
2 Reyes 22:18 - Pero al rey de Judá, que los envió para consultarme, díganle que en lo que atañe a las palabras que él ha oído, yo, el Señor, Dios de Israel, afirmo:
2 Reyes 22:19 - ‘Como te has conmovido y humillado ante el Señor al escuchar lo que he anunciado contra este lugar y sus habitantes, que serían asolados y malditos; y, como te has rasgado las vestiduras y has llorado en mi presencia, yo te he escuchado. Yo, el Señor, lo afirmo.
2 Reyes 22:20 - Por lo tanto, te reuniré con tus antepasados, y serás sepultado en paz. Tus ojos no verán la desgracia que enviaré sobre este lugar’ ”». Así que ellos regresaron para informar al rey.
Jeremías 8:8 - »”¿Cómo se atreven a decir: ‘Somos sabios; la ley del Señor nos apoya’, si la pluma engañosa de los escribas la ha falsificado?
Levítico 8:36 - Y Aarón y sus hijos hicieron todo lo que el Señor había mandado por medio de Moisés.
Isaías 5:24 - Por eso, así como las lenguas de fuego devoran la paja y el pasto seco se consume en las llamas, su raíz se pudrirá y, como el polvo, se disipará su flor. Porque han rechazado la ley del Señor Todopoderoso y han desdeñado la palabra del Santo de Israel.
2 Crónicas 35:26 - Los demás acontecimientos del reinado de Josías, sus actos piadosos acordes con la ley del Señor,
Esdras 7:10 - Esdras se había dedicado por completo a estudiar la ley del Señor, a ponerla en práctica y a enseñar sus preceptos y normas a los israelitas.
2 Crónicas 34:9 - Estos se presentaron ante el sumo sacerdote Jilquías y le entregaron el dinero que había sido recaudado en el templo de Dios, y que los levitas porteros habían recibido de los habitantes de Manasés y Efraín, y de todo el resto de Israel, Judá y Benjamín, y de los habitantes de Jerusalén.
