Das ist die Aufgabe der Priester, der Nachkommen von Aaron, denn nur sie sind dazu auserwählt. Geh aus dem Heiligtum! Du hast dich über Gottes Gebot hinweggesetzt, und dafür wird der Herr dich bestimmt nicht belohnen!«
2. Chronik 26:19 - Usija stand neben dem Altar und hielt die Räucherpfanne bereits in der Hand. Ihn packte der Zorn, als er die Warnung der Priester hörte. In diesem Moment brach an seiner Stirn Aussatz aus.
2. Chronik 26:20 - Als Asarja und die anderen Priester das sahen, trieben sie ihn schnell aus dem Tempel. Auch Usija beeilte sich hinauszukommen, denn der Aussatz war ein Zeichen dafür, dass der Herr ihn gestraft hatte.
2. Chronik 26:21 - König Usija blieb bis zu seinem Tod aussätzig. Wegen seiner Krankheit musste er für den Rest seines Lebens in einem abgesonderten Haus wohnen, er durfte auch nie mehr den Tempel des Herrn betreten. Die Regierungsgeschäfte und die Aufsicht über den Palast übergab man seinem Sohn Jotam.
2. Chronik 34:25 - Denn sie haben mich verlassen und anderen Göttern ihre Opfer dargebracht. Mit ihren selbst gemachten Götzen haben sie mich herausgefordert. Mein Zorn über diese Stadt ist wie ein Feuer, das nicht mehr erlöscht.
2. Chronik 29:11 - Macht euch also schnell an die Arbeit! Denn euch hat der Herr zu einer besonderen Aufgabe berufen: In seinem Tempel sollt ihr ihm dienen und ihm Opfer darbringen.«
1. Chronik 23:13 - Amrams Söhne waren Aaron und Mose. Aaron und seine Nachkommen wurden für den Dienst im Allerheiligsten ausgesondert. Sie sollten dem Herrn die Opfer darbringen, ihm im Heiligtum dienen und das Volk in seinem Namen segnen. Diese Aufgabe wurde ihnen für alle Zeiten zugeteilt.
2. Mose 34:23 - Dreimal im Jahr sollen sich alle Männer Israels vor mir, dem Herrn, eurem Gott, versammeln.
1. Könige 6:38 - Im 11. Regierungsjahr Salomos, im Monat Bul, dem 8. Monat des Jahres, war der Tempel fertig. Insgesamt hatte man also sieben Jahre daran gebaut. Jede Einzelheit stimmte genau mit den Bauplänen überein.
2. Mose 30:7 - Jeden Morgen, wenn Aaron die Lampen des Leuchters säubert und Öl nachfüllt, soll er auf dem Altar eine wohlriechende Weihrauchmischung verbrennen.

2. Mose 23:15 - Feiert als erstes das Fest der ungesäuerten Brote! Sieben Tage im Monat Abib sollt ihr Brot essen, das ohne Sauerteig gebacken wurde, wie ich es euch befohlen habe. Denn in diesem Monat seid ihr aus Ägypten fortgezogen. Keiner soll mit leeren Händen zu meinem Heiligtum kommen!
2. Mose 23:16 - Feiert dann das Erntefest , bei dem ihr mir den ersten Ertrag von dem Getreide darbringt, das ihr ausgesät habt. Als drittes sollt ihr das Fest der Wein- und Obsternte am Ende des Jahres feiern, wenn ihr die Früchte aus den Weinbergen und Gärten geerntet habt.
2. Mose 23:17 - Dreimal im Jahr sollen alle Männer Israels zum Heiligtum kommen und sich dort vor mir, dem Herrn, versammeln.
5. Mose 16:16 - Dreimal im Jahr sollen alle Männer Israels am Heiligtum des Herrn zusammenkommen: am Fest der ungesäuerten Brote, am Wochenfest und am Laubhüttenfest. Keiner von euch darf mit leeren Händen kommen!
2. Chronik 8:16 - Damit waren alle Pläne Salomos ausgeführt, von der Grundsteinlegung des Tempels bis zu seiner Vollendung.
2. Chronik 8:12 - Nachdem Salomo den Bau des Tempels vollendet hatte, ließ er auf dem Altar des Herrn vor der Vorhalle täglich Opfer darbringen,
