Acts of the Apostles 20:28 - “So guard yourselves and God’s people. Feed and shepherd God’s flock—his church, purchased with his own blood —over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as leaders.
1 Corinthians 3:6 - I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow.
1 Corinthians 3:7 - It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow.
1 Corinthians 3:8 - The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work.
2 Timothy 2:3 - Endure suffering along with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.

Deuteronomy 20:6 - Has anyone here just planted a vineyard but not yet eaten any of its fruit? If so, you may go home! You might die in battle, and someone else would eat the first fruit.
Proverbs 27:18 - As workers who tend a fig tree are allowed to eat the fruit, so workers who protect their employer’s interests will be rewarded.
