  • Joshua 6:20 - So the people shouted [the battle cry], and the priests blew the trumpets. When the people heard the sound of the trumpet, they raised a great shout and the wall [of Jericho] fell down, so that the sons of Israel went up into the city, every man straight ahead [climbing over the rubble], and they overthrew the city.
  • Nehemiah 4:18 - Every builder had his sword secured at his side as he built. And the one who sounded the trumpet [to summon the troops] stood at my side.
  • Nehemiah 4:19 - I said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “The work is great and extensive, and we are separated on the wall, far from one another.

  • Numbers 10:9 - When you go to war in your land against the enemy that attacks you, then sound an alarm with the trumpets, so that you may be remembered before the Lord your God, and you shall be saved from your enemies.
