不義者終不義、污衊者終污衊、義者終於義、聖者終於聖、

不義者仍不義、污穢者仍污穢、義者仍義、聖者仍聖、

惡者篤於惡、邪者篤於邪、義者篤於義、聖者篤於聖。

Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.”

Let the person who does wrong keep on doing wrong. Let the evil person continue to be evil. Let the person who does right keep on doing what is right. And let the holy person continue to be holy.”

Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.”

Let the one who is doing harm continue to do harm; let the one who is vile continue to be vile; let the one who is righteous continue to live righteously; let the one who is holy continue to be holy.”

Let the one who does wrong still do wrong, and the one who is filthy still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous still practice righteousness, and the one who is holy still keep himself holy.”

Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand.

But when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you will say to them,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says.’ Let the one who listens, listen, and let the one who refuses, refuse— for they are a rebellious house.

Evil people and impostors will become worse, deceiving and being deceived.

The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, shining brighter and brighter until midday.

Leave them alone! They are blind guides. And if the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit.”

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

The wicked one is thrown down by his own sin, but the righteous one has a refuge in his death.

Now to him who is able to protect you from stumbling and to make you stand in the presence of his glory, without blemish and with great joy,

Yet the righteous person will hold to his way, and the one whose hands are clean will grow stronger.

Seeing a lone fig tree by the road, he went up to it and found nothing on it except leaves. And he said to it,“ May no fruit ever come from you again!” At once the fig tree withered.

Then he said to them again,“ I’m going away; you will look for me, and you will die in your sin. Where I’m going, you cannot come.”

Since I called out and you refused, extended my hand and no one paid attention,since you neglected all my counsel and did not accept my correction,I, in turn, will laugh at your calamity. I will mock when terror strikes you,when terror strikes you like a storm and your calamity comes like a whirlwind, when trouble and stress overcome you.Then they will call me, but I won’t answer; they will search for me, but won’t find me.Because they hated knowledge, didn’t choose to fear the LORD,were not interested in my counsel, and rejected all my correction,they will eat the fruit of their way and be glutted with their own schemes.For the apostasy of the inexperienced will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them.But whoever listens to me will live securely and be undisturbed by the dread of danger.”

He did this to present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or anything like that, but holy and blameless.

“ When they had gone to buy some, the groom arrived, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet, and the door was shut.

So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts to follow their own plans.

But now he has reconciled you by his physical body through his death, to present you holy, faultless, and blameless before him—

If the clouds are full, they will pour out rain on the earth; whether a tree falls to the south or the north, the place where the tree falls, there it will lie.

The fourth poured out his bowl on the sun. It was allowed to scorch people with fire,and people were scorched by the intense heat. So they blasphemed the name of God, who has the power over these plagues, and they did not repent and give him glory.The fifth poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues because of their painand blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they did not repent of their works.

Enormous hailstones, each weighing about a hundred pounds, fell from the sky on people, and they blasphemed God for the plague of hail because that plague was extremely severe.

Then one of the elders asked me,“ Who are these people in white robes, and where did they come from?”I said to him,“ Sir, you know.” Then he told me: These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.For this reason they are before the throne of God, and they serve him day and night in his temple. The one seated on the throne will shelter them:

and there will no longer be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will worship him.
