Surely you set them in slippery places. You throw them down to destruction.

你实在把他们安在滑地，使他们掉在沉沦之中。

你把他們放在容易滑倒的地方，使他們落入毀滅中。

你實在把他們安放在滑地，使他們倒下、滅亡。

啊，你實在把他們安在滑地，使他們掉在完全荒廢的地步。

你確實把他們放在易滑之地，使他們仆倒滅亡。

爾實置之於險地、委之於沉淪兮、

維彼惡人、雨置諸險滑之途、擲諸死亡之地兮、

主使之立於滑地、使之陷於沈淪、

欲論世間人。應觀其終局。小人處順境。所以成其戮。

Surely you place them on slippery ground; you cast them down to ruin.

God, I’m sure you will make them slip and fall. You will throw them down and destroy them.

Truly you set them in slippery places; you make them fall to ruin.

Truly, you put them on a slippery path and send them sliding over the cliff to destruction.

Indeed, you put them in slippery places; you make them fall into ruin.

You indeed put them on slippery ground; You dropped them into ruin.

Surely You set them in slippery places; You cast them down to destruction.

Let their way be dark and slippery, Yahweh’s angel pursuing them.

who will pay the penalty: eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might,

He has brought on them their own iniquity, and will cut them off in their own wickedness. Yahweh, our God, will cut them off.

I have seen the wicked in great power, spreading himself like a green tree in its native soil.But he passed away, and behold, he was not. Yes, I sought him, but he could not be found.Mark the perfect man, and see the upright, for there is a future for the man of peace.As for transgressors, they shall be destroyed together. The future of the wicked shall be cut off.

Therefore their way will be to them as slippery places in the darkness. They will be driven on, and fall therein; for I will bring evil on them, even the year of their visitation,” says Yahweh.

though the wicked spring up as the grass, and all the evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.

Though he stumble, he shall not fall, for Yahweh holds him up with his hand.

Vengeance is mine, and recompense, at the time when their foot slides; for the day of their calamity is at hand. Their doom rushes at them.”

But the wicked shall perish. The enemies of Yahweh shall be like the beauty of the fields. They will vanish— vanish like smoke.

But you, God, will bring them down into the pit of destruction. Bloodthirsty and deceitful men shall not live out half their days, but I will trust in you.
