你為什麼要隱藏你的臉，忘記我們所受的苦難和壓迫呢？

爾奚掩面、忘我所受之苦與虐兮、

奚棄予如遺、不顧我憂患兮、

因何掩面不顧、因何忘我所遭之苦難、所受之欺凌、

興矣吾恩主。奚為尚睡着。興矣毋永棄。我將淪死谷。

Why do you hide your face and forget our misery and oppression?

Why do you turn your face away from us? Why do you forget our pain and troubles?

Why do you hide your face? Why do you forget our affliction and oppression?

Why do you look the other way? Why do you ignore our suffering and oppression?

Why do you hide and forget our affliction and oppression?

Why do You hide Your face And forget our affliction and oppression?

Wherefore hidest thou thy face, And forgettest our affliction and our oppression?

Why do You hide Yourself and forget our affliction and oppression?

Wherefore hidest thou thy face,[ and] forgettest our affliction and our oppression?

Why do you look the other way, and ignore the way we are oppressed and mistreated?

Why do you hide your face, and forget our affliction and our oppression?

Why do You hide Your face, And regard me as Your enemy?

And He said:‘ I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end will be, For they are a perverse generation, Children in whom is no faith.

Oh, do not deliver the life of Your turtledove to the wild beast! Do not forget the life of Your poor forever.

Why do You stand afar off, O Lord? Why do You hide in times of trouble?

Vindicate me, O God, And plead my cause against an ungodly nation; Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!For You are the God of my strength; Why do You cast me off? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your tabernacle.Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy; And on the harp I will praise You, O God, my God.

When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held.And they cried with a loud voice, saying,“ How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”

I will say to God my Rock,“ Why have You forgotten me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?”

How long, O Lord? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?

Do not forget the voice of Your enemies; The tumult of those who rise up against You increases continually.

Now it happened in the process of time that the king of Egypt died. Then the children of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry came up to God because of the bondage.So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.

Why do you say, O Jacob, And speak, O Israel:“ My way is hidden from the Lord, And my just claim is passed over by my God”?Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.

He has said in his heart,“ God has forgotten; He hides His face; He will never see.”
