我儿，要留心我智慧的话语，侧耳听我聪明的言词，

孩子啊，要留心听我的智言，侧耳听我的慧语，

我儿，要留心听我的智慧，侧耳听我的哲理，

弟子啊，要留心於我的智慧，要傾耳聽我的哲言；

我兒啊，你要留心聽我的智慧，側耳聽我聰慧的話語，

我子、注意我之智慧、傾聽我之明哲、

爾小子、宜聽我訓、傾耳聆教。

My son, if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you,
