So it is with the resurrection of the dead: Sown in corruption, raised in incorruption;sown in dishonor, raised in glory; sown in weakness, raised in power;sown a natural body, raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.So it is written: The first man Adam became a living being; the last Adam became a life-giving Spirit.However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, then the spiritual.The first man was from the earth and made of dust; the second man is from heaven.Like the man made of dust, so are those who are made of dust; like the heavenly man, so are those who are heavenly.And just as we have borne the image of the man made of dust, we will also bear the image of the heavenly man.Brothers, I tell you this: Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, and corruption cannot inherit incorruption.Listen! I am telling you a mystery: We will not all fall asleep, but we will all be changed,in a moment, in the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.For this corruptible must be clothed with incorruptibility, and this mortal must be clothed with immortality.When this corruptible is clothed with incorruptibility, and this mortal is clothed with immortality, then the saying that is written will take place: Death has been swallowed up in victory.Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?Now the sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

and what is the immeasurable greatness of His power to us who believe, according to the working of His vast strength.He demonstrated this power in the Messiah by raising Him from the dead and seating Him at His right hand in the heavens—

For those He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers.

Then Jesus came near and said to them,“ All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

I will ransom them from the power of Sheol. I will redeem them from death. Death, where are your barbs? Sheol, where is your sting? Compassion is hidden from My eyes.

He was transformed in front of them, and His face shone like the sun. Even His clothes became as white as the light.

He will destroy death forever. The Lord God will wipe away the tears from every face and remove His people’s disgrace from the whole earth, for the Lord has spoken.

Martha said,“ I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”Jesus said to her,“ I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me, even if he dies, will live.Everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die— ever. Do you believe this?”

“ I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God,“ the One who is, who was, and who is coming, the Almighty.”

Your dead will live; their bodies will rise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in the dust! For you will be covered with the morning dew, and the earth will bring out the departed spirits.

For He must reign until He puts all His enemies under His feet.The last enemy to be abolished is death.For God has put everything under His feet. But when it says“ everything” is put under Him, it is obvious that He who puts everything under Him is the exception.And when everything is subject to Christ, then the Son Himself will also be subject to the One who subjected everything to Him, so that God may be all in all.

Jesus answered them,“ You are deceived, because you don’t know the Scriptures or the power of God.

Then I saw a great white throne and One seated on it. Earth and heaven fled from His presence, and no place was found for them.I also saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life, and the dead were judged according to their works by what was written in the books.Then the sea gave up its dead, and Death and Hades gave up their dead; all were judged according to their works.Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.And anyone not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

“ I assure you: An hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.For just as the Father has life in Himself, so also He has granted to the Son to have life in Himself.And He has granted Him the right to pass judgment, because He is the Son of Man.Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the graves will hear His voiceand come out— those who have done good things, to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked things, to the resurrection of judgment.

and among the lampstands was One like the Son of Man, dressed in a long robe and with a gold sash wrapped around His chest.His head and hair were white like wool— white as snow— and His eyes like a fiery flame.His feet were like fine bronze as it is fired in a furnace, and His voice like the sound of cascading waters.He had seven stars in His right hand; a sharp double-edged sword came from His mouth, and His face was shining like the sun at midday.When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. He laid His right hand on me and said,“ Don’t be afraid! I am the First and the Last,and the Living One. I was dead, but look— I am alive forever and ever, and I hold the keys of death and Hades.Therefore write what you have seen, what is, and what will take place after this.The secret of the seven stars you saw in My right hand and of the seven gold lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.
