They refused to listen and failed to remember the miracles you performed among them. They became stiff-necked and in their rebellion appointed a leader in order to return to their slavery. But you are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love. Therefore you did not desert them,

They refused to listen to you. They forgot the miracles you had done among them. So they became stubborn. When they refused to obey you, they appointed a leader for themselves. They wanted to go back to being slaves in Egypt. But you are a God who forgives. You are gracious. You are tender and kind. You are slow to get angry. You are full of love. So you didn’t desert them.

They refused to obey and were not mindful of the wonders that you performed among them, but they stiffened their neck and appointed a leader to return to their slavery in Egypt. But you are a God ready to forgive, gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, and did not forsake them.

又忘记他所行的和他显给他们奇妙的作为。

主啊，你本为良善，乐意饶恕人，有丰盛的慈爱赐给凡求告你的人。

主啊，你是有怜悯有恩典的神，不轻易发怒，并有丰盛的慈爱和诚实。

他们不追念他的能力和赎他们脱离敌人的日子；他怎样在埃及地显神迹，在琐安田显奇事，

恶人当离弃自己的道路；不义的人当除掉自己的意念。归向耶和华，耶和华就必怜恤他；当归向我们的神，因为神必广行赦免。耶和华说：“我的意念非同你们的意念；我的道路非同你们的道路。天怎样高过地，照样，我的道路高过你们的道路；我的意念高过你们的意念。

等不多时，他们就忘了他的作为，不仰望他的指教，

你们要撕裂心肠，不撕裂衣服。归向耶和华你们的神；因为他有恩典，有怜悯，不轻易发怒，有丰盛的慈爱，并且后悔不降所说的灾。

他屡次搭救他们，他们却设谋背逆，因自己的罪孽降为卑下。然而，他听见他们哀告的时候，就眷顾他们的急难，为他们记念他的约，照他丰盛的慈爱后悔。他也使他们在凡掳掠他们的人面前蒙怜恤。

但他有怜悯，赦免他们的罪孽，不灭绝他们，而且屡次消他的怒气，不发尽他的忿怒。

他们又藐视那美地，不信他的话，在自己帐棚内发怨言，不听耶和华的声音。

我们的祖宗在埃及不明白你的奇事，不记念你丰盛的慈爱，反倒在红海行了悖逆。

‘耶和华不轻易发怒，并有丰盛的慈爱，赦免罪孽和过犯；万不以有罪的为无罪，必追讨他的罪，自父及子，直到三、四代。’求你照你的大慈爱赦免这百姓的罪孽，好像你从埃及到如今常赦免他们一样。”

耶和华为什么把我们领到那地，使我们倒在刀下呢？我们的妻子和孩子必被掳掠。我们回埃及去岂不好吗？”众人彼此说：“我们不如立一个首领回埃及去吧！”

耶和华有怜悯，有恩典，不轻易发怒，且有丰盛的慈爱。他不长久责备，也不永远怀怒。他没有按我们的罪过待我们，也没有照我们的罪孽报应我们。天离地何等的高，他的慈爱向敬畏他的人也是何等的大！东离西有多远，他叫我们的过犯离我们也有多远！父亲怎样怜恤他的儿女，耶和华也怎样怜恤敬畏他的人！因为他知道我们的本体，思念我们不过是尘土。至于世人，他的年日如草一样。他发旺如野地的花，经风一吹，便归无有；它的原处也不再认识它。但耶和华的慈爱归于敬畏他的人，从亘古到永远；他的公义也归于子子孙孙，就是那些遵守他的约、记念他的训词而遵行的人。

并且你没有将我们领到流奶与蜜之地，也没有把田地和葡萄园给我们为业。难道你要剜这些人的眼睛吗？我们不上去！”

神啊，有何神像你，赦免罪孽，饶恕你产业之余民的罪过，不永远怀怒，喜爱施恩？必再怜悯我们，将我们的罪孽踏在脚下，又将我们的一切罪投于深海。

但在你有赦免之恩，要叫人敬畏你。

你们虽然晓得这些事，并且在你们已有的真道上坚固，我却要将这些事常常提醒你们。我以为应当趁我还在这帐棚的时候提醒你们，激发你们；因为知道我脱离这帐棚的时候快到了，正如我们主耶稣基督所指示我的。并且，我要尽心竭力，使你们在我去世以后时常记念这些事。

耶和华在他面前宣告说：“耶和华，耶和华，是有怜悯有恩典的神，不轻易发怒，并有丰盛的慈爱和诚实，为千万人存留慈爱，赦免罪孽、过犯，和罪恶，万不以有罪的为无罪，必追讨他的罪，自父及子，直到三、四代。”

我必住在以色列人中间，并不丢弃我民以色列。”

耶和华对摩西说：“这百姓藐视我要到几时呢？我在他们中间行了这一切神迹，他们还不信我要到几时呢？

耶和华有恩惠，有怜悯，不轻易发怒，大有慈爱。耶和华善待万民；他的慈悲覆庇他一切所造的。

我们的祖宗不肯听从，反弃绝他，心里归向埃及，

你们还不明白吗？不记得那五个饼分给五千人、又收拾了多少篮子的零碎吗？也不记得那七个饼分给四千人、又收拾了多少筐子的零碎吗？我对你们说：‘要防备法利赛人和撒都该人的酵’，这话不是指着饼说的，你们怎么不明白呢？”

使他荣耀的恩典得着称赞；这恩典是他在爱子里所赐给我们的。我们藉这爱子的血得蒙救赎，过犯得以赦免，乃是照他丰富的恩典。

摩西说：“你们为何违背耶和华的命令呢？这事不能顺利了。

因他对摩西说：“我要怜悯谁就怜悯谁，要恩待谁就恩待谁。”

你们总要谨慎，不可弃绝那向你们说话的。因为，那些弃绝在地上警戒他们的尚且不能逃罪，何况我们违背那从天上警戒我们的呢？

我呼唤，你们不肯听从；我伸手，无人理会；

愿耶和华我们的神与我们同在，像与我们列祖同在一样，不撇下我们，不丢弃我们，
