所以，我们当越发郑重所听见的道理，恐怕我们随流失去。那藉着天使所传的话既是确定的；凡干犯悖逆的都受了该受的报应。我们若忽略这么大的救恩，怎能逃罪呢？这救恩起先是主亲自讲的，后来是听见的人给我们证实了。

为此，我们也不住地感谢神，因你们听见我们所传神的道就领受了；不以为是人的道，乃以为是神的道。这道实在是神的，并且运行在你们信主的人心中。

这地方的人贤于帖撒罗尼迦的人，甘心领受这道，天天考查圣经，要晓得这道是与不是。

耶路撒冷居住的人和他们的官长，因为不认识基督，也不明白每安息日所读众先知的书，就把基督定了死罪，正应了先知的预言；

耶稣来到拿撒勒，就是他长大的地方。在安息日，照他平常的规矩进了会堂，站起来要念圣经。有人把先知以赛亚的书交给他，他就打开，找到一处写着说：“主的灵在我身上，因为他用膏膏我，叫我传福音给贫穷的人；差遣我报告：被掳的得释放，瞎眼的得看见，叫那受压制的得自由，报告神悦纳人的禧年。”于是把书卷起来，交还执事，就坐下。会堂里的人都定睛看他。

但寻不出法子来，因为百姓都侧耳听他。

读完了律法和先知的书，管会堂的叫人过去，对他们说：“二位兄台，若有什么劝勉众人的话，请说。”

所以，你们应当小心怎样听；因为凡有的，还要加给他；凡没有的，连他自以为有的，也要夺去。”

他们和保罗约定了日子，就有许多人到他的寓处来。保罗从早到晚，对他们讲论这事，证明神国的道，引摩西的律法和先知的书，以耶稣的事劝勉他们。

有一个卖紫色布匹的妇人，名叫吕底亚，是推雅推喇城的人，素来敬拜神。她听见了，主就开导她的心，叫她留心听保罗所讲的话。

大卫既自己称他为主，他怎么又是大卫的子孙呢？”众人都喜欢听他。

因为从古以来，摩西的书在各城有人传讲，每逢安息日，在会堂里诵读。”

耶稣讲完了这些话，众人都希奇他的教训；因为他教训他们，正像有权柄的人，不像他们的文士。

保罗又上去，擘饼，吃了，谈论许久，直到天亮，这才走了。

七日的第一日，我们聚会擘饼的时候，保罗因为要次日起行，就与他们讲论，直讲到半夜。
