But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deluding your own selves.

And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

For this is the will of my Father, that every one that beholdeth the Son, and believeth on him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

They profess that they know God; but by their works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

He that overcometh shall thus be arrayed in white garments; and I will in no wise blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Seeing therefore it remaineth that some should enter thereinto, and they to whom the good tidings were before preached failed to enter in because of disobedience,

make you perfect in every good thing to do his will, working in us that which is well- pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Every one therefore who shall confess me before men, him will I also confess before my Father who is in heaven.But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven.

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

that ye no longer should live the rest of your time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith apart from works is barren?Was not Abraham our father justified by works, in that he offered up Isaac his son upon the altar?Thou seest that faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect;and the scripture was fulfilled which saith, And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned unto him for righteousness; and he was called the friend of God.Ye see that by works a man is justified, and not only by faith.And in like manner was not also Rahab the harlot justified by works, in that she received the messengers, and sent them out another way?For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, even so faith apart from works is dead.

For whosoever shall do the will of my Father who is in heaven, he is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Blessed are they that wash their robes, that they may have the right to come to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.

If any man willeth to do his will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is of God, or whether I speak from myself.

And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

and said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye turn, and become as little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven.

For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, we have boldness toward God;and whatsoever we ask we receive of him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.And this is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as he gave us commandment.And he that keepeth his commandments abideth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.

His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will set thee over many things; enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

He that hateth me hateth my Father also.

in everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus to you- ward.

Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, saluteth you, always striving for you in his prayers, that ye may stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God.

When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, open to us; and he shall answer and say to you, I know you not whence ye are;

For so is the will of God, that by well- doing ye should put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:

confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that through many tribulations we must enter into the kingdom of God.

My Father, who hath given them unto me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.I and the Father are one.

Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, who are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of Judah; who swear by the name of Jehovah, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness( for they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves upon the God of Israel; Jehovah of hosts is his name):

They shall cry unto me, My God, we Israel know thee.Israel hath cast off that which is good: the enemy shall pursue him.

But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh even until now, and I work.

and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of the potter are broken to shivers; as I also have received of my Father:

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar- Jonah: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father who is in heaven.

So shall also my heavenly Father do unto you, if ye forgive not every one his brother from your hearts.

See that ye despise not one of these little ones: for I say unto you, that in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.

But certain also of the strolling Jews, exorcists, took upon them to name over them that had the evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, I adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, a chief priest, who did this.And the evil spirit answered and said unto them, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and mastered both of them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.And this became known to all, both Jews and Greeks, that dwelt at Ephesus; and fear fell upon them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.Many also of them that had believed came, confessing, and declaring their deeds.And not a few of them that practised magical arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all; and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.So mightily grew the word of the Lord and prevailed.

And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!And the disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!

If ye had known me, ye would have known my Father also: from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Again a second time he went away, and prayed, saying, My Father, if this cannot pass away, except I drink it, thy will be done.

And he went forward a little, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass away from me: nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt.

Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father who is in heaven.

And if thine eye cause thee to stumble, cast it out: it is good for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell;
