Just then Jesus met them and said,“ Good morning!” They came up, took hold of His feet, and worshiped Him.

Who is it you are looking for?” Supposing He was the gardener, she replied,“ Sir, if you’ve removed Him, tell me where you’ve put Him, and I will take Him away.”Jesus said,“ Mary.” Turning around, she said to Him in Hebrew,“ Rabbouni!”— which means“ Teacher.”“ Don’t cling to Me,” Jesus told her,“ for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to My brothers and tell them that I am ascending to My Father and your Father— to My God and your God.”

Then those in the boat worshiped Him and said,“ Truly You are the Son of God!”

When they saw Him, they worshiped, but some doubted.

Thomas responded to Him,“ My Lord and my God!”

After worshiping Him, they returned to Jerusalem with great joy.

Early on the first day of the week, after He had risen, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had driven seven demons.She went and reported to those who had been with Him, as they were mourning and weeping.

Then Mary took a pound of fragrant oil— pure and expensive nard— anointed Jesus’ feet, and wiped His feet with her hair. So the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.

Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels around the throne, and also of the living creatures and of the elders. Their number was countless thousands, plus thousands of thousands.They said with a loud voice: The Lamb who was slaughtered is worthy to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them say: Blessing and honor and glory and dominion to the One seated on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!The four living creatures said,“ Amen,” and the elders fell down and worshiped.

Take note! I will make those from the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews and are not, but are lying— note this— I will make them come and bow down at your feet, and they will know that I have loved you.

In the evening of that first day of the week, the disciples were gathered together with the doors locked because of their fear of the Jews. Then Jesus came, stood among them, and said to them,“ Peace to you!”

And the angel came to her and said,“ Rejoice, favored woman! The Lord is with you.”

and stood behind Him at His feet, weeping, and began to wash His feet with her tears. She wiped His feet with the hair of her head, kissing them and anointing them with the fragrant oil.

Finally, brothers, rejoice. Become mature, be encouraged, be of the same mind, be at peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.

The guards who go about the city found me. I asked them,“ Have you seen the one I love?”I had just passed them when I found the one I love. I held on to him and would not let him go until I brought him to my mother’s house— to the chamber of the one who conceived me.

You welcome the one who joyfully does what is right; they remember You in Your ways. But we have sinned, and You were angry. How can we be saved if we remain in our sins?
