And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Then Jesus declared,“ I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.

In the last day, that great[ day] of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

I am that bread of life.Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us[ his] flesh to eat?Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.Wherefore do ye spend money for[ that which is] not bread? and your labour for[ that which] satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye[ that which is] good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you,[ even] the sure mercies of David.

They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.

They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.

Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the[ same] night in which he was betrayed took bread:And when he had given thanks, he brake[ it], and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.After the same manner also[ he took] the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink[ it], in remembrance of me.For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink[ this] cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of[ that] bread, and drink of[ that] cup.For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.

Come unto me, all[ ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.

And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?For we[ being] many are one bread,[ and] one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?

And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
