Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.”

洪水泛滥在地上四十天，水往上涨，把方舟从地上漂起。

四十昼夜降大雨在地上。

耶和华说：“我要将所造的人和走兽，并昆虫，以及空中的飞鸟，都从地上除灭，因为我造他们后悔了。”

看哪，我要使洪水泛滥在地上，毁灭天下；凡地上有血肉、有气息的活物，无一不死。

神就对挪亚说：“凡有血气的人，他的尽头已经来到我面前；因为地上满了他们的强暴，我要把他们和地一并毁灭。

他们未到死期，忽然除灭；根基毁坏，好像被江河冲去。

“在收割的前三月，我使雨停止，不降在你们那里；我降雨在这城，不降雨在那城；这块地有雨，那块地无雨；无雨的就枯干了。

他又等了七天，放出鸽子去，鸽子就不再回来了。

凡得胜的必这样穿白衣，我也必不从生命册上涂抹他的名；且要在我父面前，和我父众使者面前，认他的名。

愿他们从生命册上被涂抹，不得记录在义人之中。

要为风定轻重，又度量诸水；

他使密云盛满水气，布散电光之云；这云是藉他的指引游行旋转，得以在全地面上行他一切所吩咐的，

过了那七天，洪水泛滥在地上。

你为这个满了七日，我就把那个也给你，你再为她服侍我七年。”雅各就如此行。满了利亚的七日，拉班便将女儿拉结给雅各为妻。

倘或你肯赦免他们的罪......不然，求你从你所写的册上涂抹我的名。”耶和华对摩西说：“谁得罪我，我就从我的册上涂抹谁的名。

野地还没有草木，田间的菜蔬还没有长起来；因为耶和华神还没有降雨在地上，也没有人耕地，

耶和华说：“人既属乎血气，我的灵就不永远住在他里面；然而他的日子还可到一百二十年。”

他吸取水点，这水点从云雾中就变成雨；云彩将雨落下，沛然降与世人。谁能明白云彩如何铺张，和神行宫的雷声呢？他将亮光普照在自己的四围；他又遮覆海底。他用这些审判众民，且赐丰富的粮食。他以电光遮手，命闪电击中敌人。

凡在地上有血肉的动物，就是飞鸟、牲畜、走兽，和爬在地上的昆虫，以及所有的人，都死了。凡在旱地上、鼻孔有气息的生灵都死了。凡地上各类的活物，连人带牲畜、昆虫，以及空中的飞鸟，都从地上除灭了，只留下挪亚和那些与他同在方舟里的。

他又等了七天，再把鸽子从方舟放出去。
