Then he blessed Joseph and said,“ May the God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked faithfully, the God who has been my shepherd all my life to this day,

Then Israel gave Joseph his blessing. He said,“ May God bless these boys. He is the God of my grandfather Abraham and my father Isaac. They walked faithfully with him. He is the God who has been my shepherd all my life right up to this day.

Then he blessed Joseph and said,“ May the God before whom my grandfather Abraham and my father, Isaac, walked— the God who has been my shepherd all my life, to this very day,

Then he blessed Joseph and said: The God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, the God who has been my shepherd all my life to this day,

And he blessed Joseph, and said, God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which fed me all my life long unto this day,

Then he blessed Joseph and said,“ May the God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked– the God who has been my shepherd all my life long to this day,

He blessed Joseph, and said,“ The God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, the God who has fed me all my life long to this day,

When Abram was ninety-nine years old the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him,“ I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be blameless,

who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

he will dwell on the heights; his place of defense will be the fortresses of rocks; his bread will be given him; his water will be sure.

And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying,“ This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.

All the toil of man is for his mouth, yet his appetite is not satisfied.

God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and multiply you, that you may become a company of peoples.

and prepare for me delicious food, such as I love, and bring it to me so that I may eat, that my soul may bless you before I die.”

yet his bow remained unmoved; his arms were made agile by the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob( from there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel),

So she quickly emptied her jar into the trough and ran again to the well to draw water, and she drew for all his camels.

Behold, what I have seen to be good and fitting is to eat and drink and find enjoyment in all the toil with which one toils under the sun the few days of his life that God has given him, for this is his lot.

I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.

And Solomon said,“ You have shown great and steadfast love to your servant David my father, because he walked before you in faithfulness, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart toward you. And you have kept for him this great and steadfast love and have given him a son to sit on his throne this day.

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

the angel who has redeemed me from all evil, bless the boys; and in them let my name be carried on, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.”

All these are the twelve tribes of Israel. This is what their father said to them as he blessed them, blessing each with the blessing suitable to him.

For our boast is this, the testimony of our conscience, that we behaved in the world with simplicity and godly sincerity, not by earthly wisdom but by the grace of God, and supremely so toward you.

By faith Jacob, when dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, bowing in worship over the head of his staff.

There is nothing better for a person than that he should eat and drink and find enjoyment in his toil. This also, I saw, is from the hand of God,for apart from him who can eat or who can have enjoyment?

Sweet is the sleep of a laborer, whether he eats little or much, but the full stomach of the rich will not let him sleep.

we exhorted each one of you and encouraged you and charged you to walk in a manner worthy of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory.

Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him,

But godliness with contentment is great gain,for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world.But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content.But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.

Then Jacob made a vow, saying,“ If God will be with me and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat and clothing to wear,

Enoch walked with God after he fathered Methuselah 300 years and had other sons and daughters.Thus all the days of Enoch were 365 years.Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him.

“ Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin,yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?Therefore do not be anxious, saying,‘ What shall we eat?’ or‘ What shall we drink?’ or‘ What shall we wear?’For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.“ Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

This is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the people of Israel before his death.

and this stone, which I have set up for a pillar, shall be God’s house. And of all that you give me I will give a full tenth to you.”

And they shall be spread before the sun and the moon and all the host of heaven, which they have loved and served, which they have gone after, and which they have sought and worshiped. And they shall not be gathered or buried. They shall be as dung on the surface of the ground.

And they were both righteous before God, walking blamelessly in all the commandments and statutes of the Lord.

Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.

These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation. Noah walked with God.
