Who cover Yourself with light as with a garment, Who stretch out the heavens like a curtain.

He has made the earth by His power; He has established the world by His wisdom, And stretched out the heaven by His understanding.

By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.

He stretches out the north over empty space; He hangs the earth on nothing.He binds up the water in His thick clouds, Yet the clouds are not broken under it.

For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.

He has made the earth by His power, He has established the world by His wisdom, And has stretched out the heavens at His discretion.When He utters His voice, There is a multitude of waters in the heavens:“ And He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth. He makes lightning for the rain, He brings the wind out of His treasuries.”

To Him who by wisdom made the heavens, For His mercy endures forever;To Him who laid out the earth above the waters, For His mercy endures forever;

Then God said,“ Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.”

The burden of the word of the Lord against Israel. Thus says the Lord, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him:

The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork.

In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.And the rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights.

If the clouds are full of rain, They empty themselves upon the earth; And if a tree falls to the south or the north, In the place where the tree falls, there it shall lie.

Then God said,“ Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years;

Praise Him, you heavens of heavens, And you waters above the heavens!

But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth will tremble, And the nations will not be able to endure His indignation.

Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament!
