天主許福於挪亞及其子曰、生育眾多、滿盈於地、

爾妻在室中、如多果之葡萄樹、爾子女如油果樹、皆圍繞爾席、

我必眷顧爾、使爾昌熾繁庶、我與爾所立之約必踐之、

使我倉庫豐盈、百穀充足、使我羊群在我郊野、孳生千萬、使我牛群肥壯、使我無傷無失、在街市無哀哭之聲、

主若降福、人始致富、並不使兼增憂慮、

如此之人、當稱頌主之恩惠、將主之奇事、傳述於人、

拉班曰、我素知天主為爾賜福於我、若蒙爾恩與我偕居、

我未來之時、爾所有者少、迨我至後、主賜福於爾、滋育繁多、我於何時、始為己家立業乎、

天主又諭之曰、我乃全能之天主、使爾生育眾多、爾後裔必成一族、以至群族、列王皆由爾出、
