这样，耶和华后来赐福给约伯比先前更多。他有一万四千羊，六千骆驼，一千对牛，一千母驴。

“你且观看河马；我造你也造它。它吃草与牛一样；

神赐福给挪亚和他的儿子，对他们说：“你们要生养众多，遍满了地。

你妻子在你的内室，好像多结果子的葡萄树；你儿女围绕你的桌子，好像橄榄栽子。

我要眷顾你们，使你们生养众多，也要与你们坚定所立的约。

我们的仓盈满，能出各样的粮食；我们的羊在田间孳生千万。我们的牛驮着满驮，没有人闯进来抢夺，也没有人出去争战；我们的街市上也没有哭号的声音。

耶和华所赐的福使人富足，并不加上忧虑。

但愿人因耶和华的慈爱和他向人所行的奇事都称赞他。

拉班对他说：“我若在你眼前蒙恩，请你仍与我同住，因为我已算定，耶和华赐福与我是为你的缘故”；

我未来之先，你所有的很少，现今却发大众多，耶和华随我的脚步赐福与你。如今，我什么时候才为自己兴家立业呢？”

神又对他说：“我是全能的神；你要生养众多，将来有一族和多国的民从你而生，又有君王从你而出。
