The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

So the land produced plants. Each kind of plant had its own kind of seeds. And the land produced trees that grew fruit with seeds in it. Each kind of tree had its own kind of seeds. God saw that it was good.

The earth beareth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.

For each tree is known by its own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.

For as the earth bringeth forth its bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord Jehovah will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

Another parable set he before them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man that sowed good seed in his field:but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares also among the wheat, and went away.But when the blade sprang up and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

And he that supplieth seed to the sower and bread for food, shall supply and multiply your seed for sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness:

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
