Then God said,“ Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit according to their kind with seed in them”; and it was so.

神说：“地要发生青草和结种子的菜蔬，并结果子的树木，各从其类，果子都包着核。”事就这样成了。

上帝说：“地要长出植物，就是含种子的五谷菜蔬，和会结果子、果子里有种子的树，在地上各从其类。”事就这样成了。

Then God said,“ Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so.

Then God said,“ Let the land produce plants. Let them produce their own seeds. And let there be trees on the land that grow fruit with seeds in it. Let each kind of plant or tree have its own kind of seeds.” And that’s exactly what happened.

And God said,“ Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.” And it was so.

Then God said,“ Let the land sprout with vegetation— every sort of seed bearing plant, and trees that grow seed bearing fruit. These seeds will then produce the kinds of plants and trees from which they came.” And that is what happened.

Then God said,“ Let the earth produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds.” And it was so.

Then God said,“ Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so.

And God said, Let the earth put forth grass, herbs yielding seed, and fruit- trees bearing fruit after their kind, wherein is the seed thereof, upon the earth: and it was so.

Then God said,“ Let the earth produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds.” And it was so.

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed,[ and] the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed[ is] in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

God said,“ Let the land produce vegetation: plants yielding seeds according to their kinds, and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds.” It was so.

God said,“ Let the earth yield grass, herbs yielding seeds, and fruit trees bearing fruit after their kind, with their seeds in it, on the earth;” and it was so.

For ground that drinks the rain which often falls on it and produces vegetation useful to those for whose sake it is also tilled, receives a blessing from God;

It is He who covers the heavens with clouds, Who provides rain for the earth, Who makes grass sprout on the mountains.

Then God said,“ Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you;

You visit the earth and cause it to overflow; You greatly enrich it; The stream of God is full of water; You prepare their grain, for so You prepare the earth.You water its furrows abundantly, You settle its ridges, You soften it with showers, You bless its growth.You have crowned the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with fatness.The pastures of the wilderness drip, And the hills encircle themselves with rejoicing.The meadows are clothed with flocks And the valleys are covered with grain; They shout for joy, yes, they sing.

He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, And vegetation for the labor of mankind, So that they may produce food from the earth,And wine, which makes a human heart cheerful, So that he makes his face gleam with oil, And food, which sustains a human heart.The trees of the Lord drink their fill, The cedars of Lebanon which He planted,Where the birds build their nests, And the stork, whose home is the juniper trees.

The soil produces crops by itself; first the stalk, then the head, then the mature grain in the head.

From the earth comes food, And underneath, it is turned over like fire.

But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!

Out of the ground the Lord God caused every tree to grow that is pleasing to the sight and good for food; the tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Now no shrub of the field was yet on the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprouted, for the Lord God had not sent rain upon the earth, and there was no man to cultivate the ground.

For there is no good tree that bears bad fruit, nor, on the other hand, a bad tree that bears good fruit.For each tree is known by its own fruit. For people do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they pick grapes from a briar bush.

For he will be like a tree planted by the water That extends its roots by a stream, And does not fear when the heat comes; But its leaves will be green, And it will not be anxious in a year of drought, Nor cease to yield fruit.

Can a fig tree, my brothers and sisters, bear olives, or a vine bear figs? Nor can salt water produce fresh.

And the axe is already laid at the root of the trees; therefore, every tree that does not bear good fruit is being cut down and thrown into the fire.

You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes, nor figs from thistles, are they?So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.So then, you will know them by their fruits.

He will be like a tree planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season, And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.

The Lord God commanded the man, saying,“ From any tree of the garden you may freely eat;
