Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.

主耶和华如此说：全地欢乐的时候，我必使你荒凉。

主永恆主這麼說：正當遍地歡喜的時候，我必使你淒涼。

主耶和華曰、全地歡樂之際、我必使爾荒涼、

主耶和華曰、萬姓臚歡之際、必俾爾土、忽變荒蕪、

主天主如是云、全地正歡樂之時、我必使爾忽變荒蕪、

This is what the Sovereign Lord says: While the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate.

The Lord and King says,“ The whole earth will be glad. But I will make your land empty.

Thus says the Lord God: While the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate.

“ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: The whole world will rejoice when I make you desolate.

“‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: While the whole world rejoices, I will make you a desolation.

This is what the Lord God says:“ As all the earth rejoices, I will make you a desolation.

‘ Thus says the Lord God:“ The whole earth will rejoice when I make you desolate.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.

This is what the sovereign LORD says: While the whole earth rejoices, I will turn you into a desolation.

The Lord Yahweh says:“ When the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate.

The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.Yea, the fir- trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid low, no hewer is come up against us.

Then the heavens and the earth, and all that is therein, shall sing for joy over Babylon; for the destroyers shall come unto her from the north, saith Jehovah.

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry; behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty; behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be put to shame;behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall wail for vexation of spirit.And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen; and the Lord Jehovah will slay thee; and he will call his servants by another name:
