“倘若有贫苦的同胞向你借钱，你不可像放债的一样从中取利。

“我民中有贫穷人与你同住，你若借钱给他，不可如放债的向他取利。

“我的子民中有困苦人在你那里，你若借钱给他，不可如放债的向他取利息。

“我的子民中有困苦人在你那里，你若借钱给他，不可如放债的向他取利息。

“如果你借钱给我的人民，就是与你们在一起的穷人，你对待他们不可像放债的人一样，不可在他们身上取利。

吾民貧者、與爾偕居、若貸之金、勿為債主、而取其利、

如我民貧乏、而爾貸以金、毋取利、毋迫索。

我民中之貧者、與爾同處、爾若貸之以銀、毋如計利者使之償息、

“ If you lend money to one of my people among you who is needy, do not treat it like a business deal; charge no interest.

“ Suppose you lend money to one of my people among you who is in need. Then do not treat it like a business deal. Do not charge any interest at all.

“ If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be like a moneylender to him, and you shall not exact interest from him.

“ If you lend money to any of my people who are in need, do not charge interest as a money lender would.

“ If you lend silver to my people, to the poor person among you, you must not be like a creditor to him; you must not charge him interest.

“ If you lend money to My people, to the poor among you, you are not to act as a creditor to him; you shall not charge him interest.

“ If you lend money to any of My people who are poor among you, you shall not be like a moneylender to him; you shall not charge him interest.

If thou lend money to any of my people with thee that is poor, thou shalt not be to him as a creditor; neither shall ye lay upon him interest.

“ If you lend money to My people, to the poor person among you, you must not be like a moneylender to him; you must not charge him interest.

If thou lend money to[ any of] my people[ that is] poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.

“ If you lend money to any of my people who are needy among you, do not be like a moneylender to him; do not charge him interest.

他不放债取利，也不受贿去坑害无辜。这样的人必永远坚立不摇。

“如果你们的同胞生活日益贫穷，难以维生，你们要像照顾外族人和寄居者一样照顾他的生活，让他住在你们当中。你们不可从中谋利，要敬畏上帝，让他住在你们当中。你们借钱给他，不可收取利息；借粮给他，不可谋利。

“你们借给同胞钱、粮食或其他任何东西，都不可收取利息。你们可以向外族人收取利息，但不可向同胞收取。这样，在你们将要占领的土地上，你们的上帝耶和华必使你们凡事蒙福。

不放债取利，不犯罪作恶，反而公平待人，

经过深思熟虑后，我便斥责这些贵族和官员，说：“你们竟然向同胞放高利贷！”于是我召开大会处理他们的问题。

人放高利贷牟利，等于为扶贫者积财。

不压榨贫穷的人，不放债取利，反而遵守我的典章，顺从我的律例，这人必不因父亲的罪恶而死亡，他必活着。

在你这城中，他们受贿杀人，放债取利，压榨邻居，早把我忘了。这是主耶和华说的。

妇人将经过告诉上帝的仆人，上帝的仆人对她说：“你去把油卖了还债，你们母子可以用剩下的钱度日。”

有一个先知的妻子哀求以利沙说：“你仆人——我丈夫怎样敬畏耶和华，你是知道的。如今他去世了，债主来取我的两个孩子做奴隶。”

母亲啊，我真不幸，因为你生了我这个跟全犹大争论、激辩的人。我没有向人借贷，也没有借贷给人，然而人人都咒骂我。

放债取利，这样的人还能活着吗？他必不能活。他作恶多端，必自取灭亡，抵偿自己的血债。

有的说：“我们和我们的儿女人口众多，需要粮食来活命。”有的说：“因为饥荒的缘故，我们要将田地、葡萄园和房屋作抵押来获取粮食。”有的说：“我们要借钱才能缴纳王对我们的田地和葡萄园征收的税。我们和他们是同胞，我们的孩子就像他们的孩子。但现在我们的儿女要被迫成为仆婢，甚至我们的女儿有些已经沦为奴婢。我们却无能为力，因为我们的田地和葡萄园已经归别人了。”

我和我的兄弟及仆人都借钱、借粮给民众，现在我们要停止放高利贷。你们今天就要归还他们的田地、葡萄园、橄榄园和房屋，以及你们向他们所收的五谷、新酒和油的利息。”

为什么不把我的银币存进钱庄，到我回来时可以连本带利收回来？’

就应该把钱存入钱庄，等我回来时，可以连本带利还给我。’
