耶穌回答他們：「你們為甚麼因你們的傳統而違反神的誡命呢？神說：『當孝敬父母』；又說：『咒罵父母的，必須處死。』你們倒說：『無論誰對父母說：我所當供奉你的已經作了奉獻，就可以不孝敬他的父親。』這就是你們藉着傳統，廢了神的話。
