至於那奧祕的事顯明給我，不是因為我比所有的活人更有智慧，而是要使王明白那夢的釋義和王心裡的意念。

此秘奧顯示於我、非因我有智慧、逾於眾生、乃以夢兆告王、俾知心之所思、

非我較天下人有智、惟上帝以此秘奧示我、遣我以兆告王、使王追憶前事、

此奧秘顯示於我、非為我較天下人有智慧、乃為以夢兆示王、使王憶及心觀之異象、使王憶及心觀之異象或作俾王得知王心之思念

As for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because I have greater wisdom than anyone else alive, but so that Your Majesty may know the interpretation and that you may understand what went through your mind.

Now the mystery has been explained to me. But it isn’t because I have greater wisdom than anyone else alive. It’s because God wants you to know what the mystery means, Your Majesty. He wants you to understand what went through your mind.

But as for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because of any wisdom that I have more than all the living, but in order that the interpretation may be made known to the king, and that you may know the thoughts of your mind.

And it is not because I am wiser than anyone else that I know the secret of your dream, but because God wants you to understand what was in your heart.

約瑟回答法老說：「這不在乎我。神必應允法老平安。」

彼得看見，就對百姓說：「以色列人哪，為甚麼因這事而驚訝呢？為甚麼定睛看我們，以為我們憑自己的能力和虔誠使這人行走呢？

但以理回到他的居所，把這事告訴他的同伴哈拿尼雅、米沙利、亞撒利雅，要他們祈求天上的神施憐憫，將這奧祕指明，免得但以理和他的同伴與巴比倫其餘的智慧人一同滅亡。

看哪，那創山，造風，將其心意指示人，使晨光變幽暗，踩行在地之高處的，他的名是耶和華－萬軍之神。

最後也顯給我看；我如同未到產期而生的人一般。我原是使徒中最小的，不配稱為使徒，因為我曾迫害過神的教會。然而，由於神的恩典，我才成了今日的我，並且他所賜給我的恩典不是徒然的。我比眾使徒格外勞苦；其實不是我，而是神的恩典與我同在。無論是我或是其他使徒，我們都如此傳，你們也都如此信了。既然我們傳基督是從死人中復活了，怎麼在你們中間有人說沒有死人復活的事呢？

因為我是耶和華－你的神，是以色列的聖者－你的救主；我使埃及作你的贖價，使古實和西巴代替你。因我看你為寶貝為尊貴；又因我愛你，所以使人代替你，使萬民替換你的生命。

這四個少年，神在各樣文字學問上賜給他們知識和聰明；但以理又明白各樣異象和夢兆。

所以，無論誰都不可誇耀人；因為萬有都是你們的，或保羅，或亞波羅，或磯法，或世界，或生，或死，或現今的事，或將來的事，全是你們的，而你們是屬基督的，基督是屬神的。

我們知道，萬事都互相效力，叫愛神的人得益處，就是按他旨意被召的人。

因我的僕人雅各，我所揀選的以色列，我提名召你；你雖不認識我，我也加給你名號。

但以理求王，王就派沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌管理巴比倫省的事務，只是但以理仍在朝中侍立。

凡事都是為了你們，好使恩惠既藉着更多的人而加增，感恩也格外顯多，好歸榮耀給神。

若不減少那些日子，凡血肉之軀的，就沒有一個能得救；可是為了選民，那些日子將減少。

若不是主減少那些日子，凡血肉之軀的，就沒有一個能得救；但是為了他所揀選的選民，他將那些日子減少了。
