主知拯虔者於試中、而留不義者於刑下、以待鞫日、

惟主救敬虔之人、免於患難、而留不義者、待鞫日受刑、

惟主知拯救虔敬之人、脫於苦難、而留不義之人、待審判之日受刑、

觀此可見天主固知何以脫善人於危難、而將惡人留待審判之日、以受顯罰。

Since all this is true, then the Lord knows how to save godly people. He knows how to keep them safe in times of testing. The Lord also knows how to keep ungodly people under guard. He will do so until the day they will be judged and punished.

你们所受的考验无非是人所承受得了的。神是信实的，他不会让你们遭受无法承受的考验，在受考验的时候，总会给你们开一条出路，让你们能忍受得了。

耶和华的眼目看顾义人，他的耳朵听他们的呼求。耶和华向行恶的人变脸，要从地上除灭他们的名字。义人呼求，耶和华听见了，就拯救他们脱离一切患难。耶和华靠近伤心的人，拯救心灵痛悔的人。义人多有苦难，但耶和华救他脱离这一切，

因为你遵守了我坚忍的道，我也必在普天下人受试炼的时候保守你免受试炼。

其实，凡立志在基督耶稣里敬虔度日的，也都将受迫害。

但现在的天地还是凭着神的话存留，直留到不敬虔之人受审判遭沉沦的日子，用火焚烧。

亚当的七世孙以诺曾预言这些人说：“看哪，主带着他的千万圣者来临，要审判众人，证实一切不敬虔的人所妄行一切不敬虔的事，又证实不敬虔的罪人所说顶撞他的刚愎的话。”

他为我们的缘故舍己，为了要赎我们脱离一切罪恶，又洁净我们作他自己的子民，热心为善。

因为我们众人必须站在基督审判台前受审，为使各人按着本身所行的，或善或恶受报。既然我们知道主是可畏的，就劝导人；但是神是认识我们的，我盼望你们的良心也认识我们。

耶和华造万物各适其用，就是恶人也为祸患的日子所造。

既然神没有宽容犯了罪的天使，反而把他们丢在地狱里，囚禁在幽暗中等候审判；

你六次遭难，他必救你；就是七次，灾祸也无法害你。

你竟放任你刚硬不悔改的心，为自己累积愤怒！在愤怒的日子，神公义的审判要显示出来。

你们要知道，耶和华已将虔诚人分别出来归他自己；我求告耶和华，他必垂听。

就是恶人在患难的日子得存留，在愤怒的日子得逃脱。

耶和华啊，求你帮助，因虔诚人断绝了，世人中间忠信的人消失了。

为此，凡虔诚人都当趁你可寻找的时候向你祷告；大水泛滥的时候，必不临到他。
