巴比倫王立約雅斤的叔父瑪探雅取代他作王，給瑪探雅改名叫西底家。

因為論到離開這地方的約西亞之子猶大王沙龍，就是接續他父親約西亞作王的，耶和華這樣說：「他必不再回到這裏來，卻要死在被擄去的地方，必不得再見這地。」

太監長給他們另外起名，稱但以理為伯提沙撒，稱哈拿尼雅為沙得拉，稱米沙利為米煞，稱亞撒利雅為亞伯尼歌。

埃及王在耶路撒冷廢了他，又罰這地一百他連得銀子，一他連得金子。埃及王尼哥立約哈斯的哥哥以利雅敬作猶大和耶路撒冷的王，給他改名叫約雅敬。尼哥卻將他的弟弟約哈斯帶到埃及去。

法老給約瑟起名叫撒發那特‧巴內亞，又將安城的祭司波提‧非拉的女兒亞西納給他為妻。約瑟就出去治理埃及地。

又往北經過亞拉巴對面的斜坡，下到亞拉巴。
