Psalm 118
Thanksgiving for Victory
1Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
2Let Israel say,
“His faithful love endures forever.”118:2 Ps 115:9
3Let the house of Aaron say,
4Let those who fear the Lord say,
the Lord answered me
and put me in a spacious place.118:5 Or answered me with freedom118:5 Ps 18:19
6The Lord is for me; I will not be afraid.
7The Lord is my helper;
8It is better to take refuge in the Lord
9It is better to take refuge in the Lord

10All the nations surrounded me;

they were extinguished like a fire among thorns;
